My Graphic Portfolio is a 70-page collection of some of my favourite projects as a Town Planner. Current and recently completed Land Use Management applications are for:
- Blocks of flats and shops along development corridors across Cape Town, including Retreat Road, Lansdowne Road, and Imam Haron Road.
- Residential complexes in the Southern District, including Glencairn and Simon’s Town.
- Tourism-related retail opportunities in Seaforth, Simon’s Town.
- Office and business developments along connector routes, including Belvedere Road in Claremont and Victoria Road in Plumstead.
- Medical consulting rooms in the Southern District.
- Performance and event venues in Paarden Island.
- Storage space in Lansdowne Industrial.
- Nurseries and preschools in the Southern and Tygerberg Districts.
- A series of Single Residential 1 (SR1) Land Use Management applications throughout Cape Town, in the Southern, Cape Flats, Table Bay, Tygerberg and surrounding Districts. These applications involve second and third dwellings, building additions and alterations, as well as small-scale subdivisions. Common obstacles for these types of smaller urban development proposals are Title Deed Restrictive Conditions, which need to be removed or relaxed.
